About Kaspa (KAS)
Kaspa is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency built around a blockDAG: instead of a single chain, blocks form a directed acyclic graph so many blocks can be produced in parallel while the network still agrees on one order, using the GHOSTDAG protocol described in the PHANTOM paper. The aim is fast confirmations without giving up proof-of-work security.
How does Kaspa work?
Where Bitcoin discards competing blocks found at nearly the same time, Kaspa's design keeps them and orders them, so a high block rate does not waste work. Miners use a proof-of-work hash function and are rewarded per block.
