All Scrypt APIs

Scrypt Connect API

Browser wallet provider. No API key; wallet access and supported signing requests follow the wallet approval flow.

Documentation →

Scrypt ID API

Resolve public .scrypt names to coin addresses. Public resolution needs no key; registration and partner operations require their own authentication.

Documentation →

Scrypt Price API

Prices, charts, markets, asset catalog and network data. Public access plus optional reviewed API keys for higher limits.

Documentation →

Scrypt Calculator

Mining projections and embeddable calculators. Use the supported widget integration; no public general-purpose calculation API is advertised.

Documentation →

Scrypt Bridge API

Coin metadata, configuration and proof of reserves. Check the live configuration before building against a bridge lane.

Documentation →

Scrypt Wallet account APIs

Wallet account and dapp submission endpoints require an authenticated account. Manage Scrypt Price API keys in your wallet.

Scrypt Connect: quick start

Load the provider before your kit. It is available when your dapp runs inside Scrypt Wallet’s Dapp Browser; an ordinary browser tab does not provide a wallet connection. Request a listing to make your app available in the wallet. Never ask a user for private keys.

<script src="https://wallet.scryptwallet.io/scrypt-connect.js"></script>
<script type="module">
import { createScryptSDK } from './sdk.js';
const sdk = createScryptSDK();
document.querySelector('#connect').onclick = async () => {
  const { accounts, capabilities } = await sdk.connect(['LTC', 'DOGE']);
  console.log(accounts, capabilities);
};
</script>

Current provider capabilities

The kits expose address connection for all listed coins, Scrypt ID resolution and Scrypt Price quotes. A coin address is returned only when the user has that wallet. Price and identity coverage can be unavailable; handle API errors and absent quotes explicitly.

MethodCurrent support
wallet_connectWallet addresses, filtered by internal chain identifier; new dapps receive an approval prompt.
wallet_getBalanceLuckycoin only.
wallet_signMessage / wallet_signTransactionSolana only; wallet approval required.
wallet_sendTransactionExisting Luckycoin bridge-deposit workflow; not a general payment API for every Scrypt coin.
scrypt_signMessageLitecoin Scrypt ID login challenge.
scrypt_connectScrypt ID pairing; endpoint restricted to the trusted Scrypt ID host.

Inspect returned capabilities before enabling transaction actions. These SDKs do not implement native smart-contract deployment or arbitrary UTXO transaction signing.

Scrypt ID API

Resolve public names without a key. The asset parameter is the uppercase coin ticker. A missing/private name or an unlinked address can produce a non-success response.

GET https://id.scryptwallet.io/api/resolve/alice.scrypt?asset=LTC

Use sdk.resolve('alice.scrypt', 'LTC') from a browser or server. Where an API’s cross-origin policy prevents a browser fetch, call it from your own backend. Partner registration credentials belong on your server and are never included in these kits.

Scrypt Bridge API

GET https://bridge.scryptwallet.io/api/coins
GET https://bridge.scryptwallet.io/api/config
GET https://bridge.scryptwallet.io/api/proof-of-reserves

These read endpoints describe the active deployment. Testnet and mainnet have different configurations. Deposits and withdrawals require the actual bridge flow and wallet approval; these kits do not initiate them.

Request to add your dapp

Sign in with your Scrypt Wallet account, open the listing form, and provide a name, HTTPS site, HTTPS icon, description, contact email and supported chains. There is a limit of three requests per day. Listings and wallet API access remain disabled until admin approval. Your submitted apps and review notes are available below the form.
