Scrypt Wallet is a free Soqucoin wallet for Android and the web. Use it to send and receive SOQ, check your balance, and keep Soqucoin next to your other coins.
Get started in three steps
1. Create a free account. No card is needed. You can add more than one SOQ wallet to the same account later.
2. Open Receive. Choose SOQ to see your address, then copy it or scan the QR code.
3. Send SOQ to that address. Withdraw from an exchange or another wallet. Soqucoin has its own block explorer at explorer.soqu.org where you can follow the transfer.
What you can do with SOQ in Scrypt Wallet
- Send and receive SOQ, with the network fee shown before you confirm
- See your SOQ balance and activity on the dashboard next to your other coins
- Check live prices and charts on Scrypt Price
- Estimate mining income with the Soqucoin mining calculator
About Soqucoin
Soqucoin is a Scrypt proof-of-work coin. It is merge-mined, so Scrypt miners can earn SOQ at no extra hashing cost while they mine a compatible parent chain, and our own Soqucoin node shows merge-mined blocks. If you mine, estimate your income per miner and read merged mining explained. The project's site is soqu.org.
Post-quantum signatures
Most coins sign transactions with elliptic-curve cryptography, which a large enough quantum computer could in theory break. Soqucoin instead uses ML-DSA, a post-quantum signature scheme standardized by NIST as FIPS 204. The trade-off is size: ML-DSA signatures are much larger than the ones Bitcoin-style coins use, so a Soqucoin transaction is far bigger than a typical Litecoin or Dogecoin one and costs more in fees. Check the fee shown on the confirm screen before you send.
Receiving and sending SOQ
Open Receive, choose SOQ and copy the address. Send only native Soqucoin to it. Deposits need a few confirmations before they are final. To send, enter the address and amount and confirm. A confirmed transaction can't be reversed, so check the address first, and send a small test amount before a large one.
Security and recovery
Keep your recovery information somewhere durable and offline. Support will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key, and anyone who does is trying to steal from you. Make sure you are on wallet.scryptwallet.io before you enter anything. A confirmed SOQ transaction can't be reversed, and Scrypt Wallet can't recover coins sent to the wrong address. Read crypto backups and wallet recovery before you put real money in.
