Receiving SOL from an exchange or another wallet
The most direct way to get SOL into Scrypt Wallet is to send it from wherever you already hold it — an exchange, another wallet — to your own SOL address. Open Receive in Scrypt Wallet to generate that address, and double-check the network shown matches Solana before you send: initiating a withdrawal on the wrong network is one of the most common ways funds get stuck or lost outright.
Swapping into SOL
SOL is also available in Scrypt Wallet's built-in swap, so if you're already holding a different supported coin you can convert part of it into SOL directly in the app instead of routing through an exchange first. Review the quote — rate, network fee, minimum received — before confirming; a swap is not reversible once it broadcasts.
Before you rely on a deposit
