Receiving PEP from an exchange or another wallet
The most direct way to get PEP into Scrypt Wallet is to send it from wherever you already hold it — an exchange, another wallet — to your own PEP address. Open Receive in Scrypt Wallet to generate that address, and double-check the network shown matches Pepecoin before you send: initiating a withdrawal on the wrong network is one of the most common ways funds get stuck or lost outright.
Swapping into PEP
PEP is also available in Scrypt Wallet's built-in swap, so if you're already holding a different supported coin you can convert part of it into PEP directly in the app instead of routing through an exchange first. Review the quote — rate, network fee, minimum received — before confirming; a swap is not reversible once it broadcasts.
Before you rely on a deposit
Treat an unconfirmed PEP deposit as pending, not settled, until it has enough network confirmations.
