Scrypt Wallet is a free Dingocoin wallet for Android and the web. Use it to send and receive DINGO, check your balance, and keep Dingocoin next to your other coins.

Get started in three steps

1. Create a free account. No card is needed. You can add more than one DINGO wallet to the same account later.

2. Open Receive. Choose DINGO to see your address, then copy it or scan the QR code.

3. Send DINGO to that address. Withdraw from an exchange or another wallet. You can follow the transfer on Scrypt Explorer.

What you can do with DINGO in Scrypt Wallet

About Dingocoin

Dingocoin is a proof-of-work coin that uses the Scrypt algorithm. It is merge-mined, so Scrypt miners can earn DINGO at no extra hashing cost while mining Litecoin or Dogecoin. Our own Dingocoin node shows merge-mined blocks, and Scrypt merge-mining pools list it. If you mine, estimate your income per miner.

Check the network before you send

Several Scrypt-family coins share an address format with Dogecoin, so an address can look valid and still belong to a different network. When an address matches more than one network, Scrypt Wallet asks you to choose which one you mean. Confirm the network with the person or service you're paying, and send a small test amount first.

Receiving and sending DINGO

Open Receive, choose DINGO and copy the address. Send only native Dingocoin to it. Deposits need a few confirmations before they are final. To send, enter the address and amount and confirm. A confirmed transaction can't be reversed, so check the address before you do.

Security and recovery

Keep your recovery information somewhere durable and offline. Support will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key, and anyone who does is trying to steal from you. Make sure you are on wallet.scryptwallet.io before you enter anything. A confirmed DINGO transaction can't be reversed, and Scrypt Wallet can't recover coins sent to the wrong address. Read crypto backups and wallet recovery before you put real money in.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mine Dingocoin?

Yes. Dingocoin is merge-mined with Scrypt coins, so a Scrypt miner can earn DINGO alongside Litecoin or Dogecoin if the pool supports it. Estimate income with the Scrypt Calculator.

Where can I check a Dingocoin transaction?

Paste the transaction id into Scrypt Explorer. It shows the status, the amount and the addresses involved.

Why does Scrypt Wallet ask me to choose a network when I paste an address?

Several Scrypt-family coins share an address format with Dogecoin, so one address can be valid on more than one network. Choosing the right one stops you sending to the wrong chain.

Can I hold more than one DINGO wallet?

Yes. Scrypt Wallet supports managing multiple DINGO wallets from the same account.

Is there a fee to create a Scrypt Wallet account?

No. Creating a Scrypt Wallet account is free, with no card required to get started.
