⚠ No trading liquidity found for TMOx

We found no trading pool for TMOx on the Solana DEXs we check. There may be no way to buy or sell it on-chain right now, and any price you see for it elsewhere may not be a price anyone will trade at. (checked 2026-11-07)

What low liquidity means
  • Liquidity is the money sitting in the pools traders swap against. The less there is, the harder it is to trade without changing the price yourself.
  • Price impact. A swap is priced along the pool's curve, so in a thin pool you can receive far less than the quoted price suggests. The bigger your trade relative to the pool, the worse it gets.
  • Hard to exit. Selling a position may only be possible at a steep discount, in small pieces, or not at all if the pool is drained.
  • Easy to manipulate. Small trades can swing the price, so the displayed price is not a guarantee you could actually buy or sell at it.
  • What to do. Check the price impact shown before you confirm a swap, try a small test amount first, never size a position you could not afford to be stuck with, and confirm the mint address matches this page.

What is a tokenized stock?

Thermo Fisher xStock (TMOx) is a tokenized stock: a digital token issued by Backed Finance, a Swiss company, each one backed 1:1 by a real share held in regulated custody. Holding TMOx gives you on-chain price exposure to Thermo Fisher that trades 24/7 — including nights, weekends and holidays when the real stock market is closed — but it isn't the stock itself: no voting rights, no direct shareholder status, and it isn't redeemable for the underlying share the way Backed's own eligible institutional clients can.

The regulatory picture

Tokenized stocks sit in a regulatory space that moved fast in 2026. On January 28, the SEC's Divisions of Corporation Finance, Investment Management, and Trading and Markets issued a joint staff statement clarifying that tokenized securities are subject to the same federal securities laws as their traditional counterparts regardless of whether ownership is recorded on-chain or off-chain — it created no new exemption, just confirmed existing law still applies.

On September 17, the SEC went further, issuing a five-year Innovation Exemption creating a regulated pathway for certain venues to trade tokenized U.S. stocks through permissioned on-chain pools. Products structured as synthetic trackers without direct shareholder rights — which includes xStocks — sit outside that specific exemption. They keep operating the way they always have: a Swiss-issued token backed 1:1 by shares held with Alpaca Securities LLC (a FINRA-registered, SIPC-member broker-dealer), with supplemental Lloyd's of London coverage up to $175M and weekly Proof of Reserves published on-chain and third-party audited — not available to US persons at the issuer level, and without voting rights or direct shareholder status.

This isn't investment or legal advice, and the rules here are still developing. Read the SEC's own statement before treating a tokenized-stock product as equivalent to owning the real thing.

Pairing it with DeFi for extra yield

Thermo Fisher stock already pays its own dividend on its own schedule — that doesn't change here. What's different on-chain is that a token like TMOx *can* also sit in a liquidity pool (Raydium, Orca) and earn a second, independent trading-fee yield on top of the stock's own return — several xStocks already do, with real, checkable liquidity. TMOx doesn't have a meaningfully liquid pool as of this writing, so treat this as the general shape of the opportunity rather than a live number for this specific token — check Scrypt Wallet's Earn tab for the current figure before assuming one exists.

How Scrypt Wallet cuts through the noise

Search "Thermo Fisher on Solana" and you'll find dozens of wrapped, synthetic and outright fake versions of the same idea before you find the real one. Scrypt Wallet's Trust Layer is the curated list: TMOx is on it because it's a real, verifiably-backed xStock, not because anyone paid for placement — copy-cat tokens using a similar name or logo stay in the unverified "Wilderness" list, clearly labeled, never mixed in with the real thing by default.

Once it's in your wallet, TMOx sits next to every other coin you hold — one non-custodial wallet, your own keys, real prices, and a real path to the DeFi yield above if one exists, instead of a dozen apps and a dozen places your assets could quietly stop being yours.
