The midpoint price is not the total cost
The VTI price shown by Scrypt Wallet is calculated from Robinhood's latest indicative bid and ask — a reference point, not what you'll actually pay. What you pay in a swap depends on the real route and amount: the bid-ask spread, price impact from your order size, and the slippage tolerance you authorize. Robinhood Chain gas is separate from all three.
Before signing, compare the amount you send with the minimum VTI you may receive. Check whether the wallet shows any route or platform fee, and leave enough bridged ETH for network costs. A small trade can still have a poor effective price when on-chain liquidity is shallow.
No DeFi yield layer here
Unlike some other tokenized assets, VTI on Robinhood Chain isn't documented anywhere as having a liquidity-pool or staking yield attached to it. Treat any third-party claim of a "VTI yield" with real skepticism and verify it against the issuer's own stock-token page before trusting it — it is not part of the product as Robinhood describes it.
