Blockchain hours and market hours are different
Robinhood Chain transactions can be submitted outside the regular U.S. stock-market session. That does not mean the referenced company's shares are trading on their exchange at the same moment. P references that share through a separate tokenized debt security, so the token's on-chain trading conditions can diverge from a brokerage order in the underlying stock.
When the underlying market is shut, Robinhood's indicative bid/ask midpoint may reflect stale information. News can change expectations before the next market open. On-chain liquidity may thin out, widen spreads, or stop being quotable at all. The practical question is whether there's an executable P route for your amount at an acceptable total cost, not whether the token is technically transferable 24/7.
A useful after-hours checklist
Compare the swap's input and output, price impact, slippage setting and Robinhood Chain gas. Check when the price snapshot was taken. Confirm the output contract is 0x1Cdad396DB64BDa184d5182A97Dd9B3C62100b7D; symbols alone are not reliable identity. A failed or expired route is a liquidity or execution issue, not evidence that the underlying exchange itself was open.
