Two coins, one wallet
Bitcoin (BTC) runs on Bitcoin. Earthcoin (EAC) runs on Earthcoin, a different network. Both are available natively in Scrypt Wallet, a single non-custodial wallet — your BTC and EAC keys are both generated and encrypted on your own device, and Scrypt Wallet never holds either one.
What's actually different
BTC and EAC are separate networks with their own block times, fee markets and confirmation requirements — holding both doesn't mean they behave identically when you send or receive. Always check which network you're sending on before broadcasting; sending BTC to an address that only accepts EAC (or the reverse) is one of the most common ways funds get stuck.
